- I have a sometimes frustrating tendency to quickly mark any white clothes I've been given*. Does that in some way reflect how easily my mind falters? Or that I am inevitably doomed to constantly fall short (even if by a pen-point sized margins) of any kind of perfection? How gloomy.
Nay, I think not. I think such marks are healthy expressions of character (and cosmic humor). The Mystery is endless, so is the journey through and of it. The key to the enigmatic goal of realization is the Presence of Love and the magic of gratitude. Such, I think, are the colorful marks of character that make life vibrant, exciting and new.

- Learning patience can not be rushed.
"The Master gives himself up
to whatever the moment brings.
He knows that he is going to die,
and he has nothing left to hold on to:
no illusions in his mind,
no resistances in his body.
He doesn't think about his actions;
they flow from the core of his being.
He holds nothing back from life;
therefore he is ready for death,
as a man is ready for sleep
after a good day's work."
